WorkLife
WorkLife is a feature that TELUS Health offer that can be seen as ‘practical’ support, offering guidance regarding emotional, financial, legal and even child care support. We spoke to TELUS themselves, and here is what they had to say about their WorkLife support feature.
“Worklife services are delivered through in person, telephone, and or online support, allowing individuals to connect with an expert to address questions or concerns and receive knowledgeable and professional advice.
It can be overwhelming and stressful when we are faced with a big practical issue. TELUS want to be able to assist, to alleviate some of that stress by providing you with the right resources and enable you to get some of the time back that you may spend on seeking these resources yourself. We can also put you in touch with community agencies that can support you further.”
Examples of the support they offer include:
- Legal – Separation/divorce, custody and child support, consumer protection, family law
- Financial – Credit and debt management, budgeting, bankruptcy, retirement planning
- Child and Adult Care – support to find classes (parenting, afterschool programs, adoption, nursing homes, rehab support, palliative care).
To access this benefit, please call TELUS via their freephone number, available through the TELUS Health app.
