MCJA’s Christmas Festivities – Christmas Hampers and Christmas Jumper Day 2024

13 December 2024

What have we been getting up to this December, you ask? Our team have been keeping busy sending out our Christmas newsletters, putting together our Christmas Hampers for our service users, and taking part in Christmas Jumper Day 2024 for Save the Children.

Christmas Jumper Day

On the 12th December, our team at MerseyCare Julie Ann took part in this year’s Christmas Jumper Day, fundraising for Save The Children. We wore our festive jumpers in support of the charity – our service users even took part in the day! About Save The Children

Save The Children are a charity dedicated to ensuring that children in need and their families are supported in a number of ways, including;
  • Providing support with maternal and new born health.
  • Receiving the correct education.
  • Reuniting families.
  • Ensuring children and their families are fed and watered.
  • Ensuring children and their families have access to healthcare.
  • And much more.
Save The Children are an incredible charity, helping children and families in need across the world, which is why we wanted to help support them with their fundraiser this year. We would like to say a massive thank you to all who took part on the day, and helped us fundraise for a fantastic cause! We have also started our annual Christmas hamper project for our service users – these hampers are filled with a number of items to help over the festive period, such as; tinned food such as soups and fruit, crackers, biscuits, tea, coffee, mince pies, blankets, hygiene products and much more.
