What Our Colleagues Say…

I came to the UK in 2022 for MSc in Health Services Management. I am a qualified doctor from Bangladesh. While doing my MSc, I started a part-time job in MCJA. The main reason I selected this job is because it involves care for vulnerable people who need help with their day-to-day activities. I liked interacting with patients in Bangladesh and I missed that. The support MCJA has given me is worth mentioning, they don’t overburden me with work. They are very supportive and all the staff are very friendly.

Alim (Care Assistant)

Working for MCJA is very fun and supportive. I completed an apprenticeship with this company and they supported me throughout the entire process. The office staff and carers are both lovely to work with and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend working for MCJA to friends and family. My recruitment process was short and simple from me applying to me starting work. Very supportive team.

Katie (Staff Member)

I was a welder for 27 years and my dad got vascular dementia, so I gave work off to look after him. He died after a year and then my mum had a bad case of sepsis which rendered her immobile, so I looked after her for a further five years with the support of MCJA. Then after she passed, Linsey Pollard, who was one of my mum's carers, said to me "I think you’d make a good carer" and recommended me to MCJA! I am one year in and I’m really enjoying the work. I have even received Carer of the Month!
